Just received their email this morning.
It's not as good as 30% off but for those who need it now this deal is ok.

Damn can't imagine myself spending $700+ for a monitor, even if it's really good….
I guess that probably means I simply don't need it
Does this help sway you towards the Dell? ;)

Different product. That's the U2713HM It's the cheaper/mainstream version with a White LED (W-LED) backlight, rather than a Green Blue LED backlight (GB-LED), which means lower colour gamut.
Didn't read sorry, but the HM version shouldn't matter for gaming sakes. I havent got seen the differences between colour accuracy though 1.07 billion palettes vs 16.7 million.
That's apparently because consumer GPUs can't/don't output 10-bit LUTs and only have access to 8-bit LUT… whether that is true iono…
From what i have read though, the HM is better for gaming due to the lack of overdrive feature which makes it hard to be accurate in fast pace games…
And remember folks, this monitor will only support native res (a glorious 2650x1440) via displayport or dual link DVI.
this matters if you want more than 1080 HD and do not have the appropriate video output on your desired machine.
Also, best value monitor I've ever owned. I'm a photographer and it's made skin tone adjustments so much faster and more accurate!
Got mine on Friday, downgraded from the 30" which I found too big, really feel like this is perfect size and the colour gamut is supurb - didn't need to calibrate it!
