Saw this deal at dwidigitalcameras.com.au. It doesn't specifically say that its Australian stock or not, but it comes with 12 months Australian warranty. I have bought cameras and lenses form them before, no issues.

"It doesn't specifically say that its Australian stock or not, but"
Nothing from DWI is Australian stock.
And they're notoriously bad for customer service on mobiles, yet have a good rep on cameras
thats what ive noticed too. probably different people working for each departments
it comes with 12 months Australian warranty.
Who would be supporting that warranty? DWI? Do they have an office presence in Australia? If so, where?
EDIT:
It seems that they do not have a physical presence in Australia.
They use a service agent in NSW for warranty claims -
ATECH Distribution Pty Ltd
"When wanting to initiate your 1 year warranty, please contact us or our contracted service agent and provide your Order Number and complete the RA application form.Once our service agent has received the item, it will be inspected by there (sic) technical staff and they will email you within 14 working days to describe errors found with the product and plans to fix or replace your item.
Be assured that we will attend to your item within this time period and if for any chance (due to workload and/or manpower issues) we cannot attend to it (within 14 days), we will inform you.
Once the fault has been rectified, the item will be sent back to you via Registered Air Mail or Courier Service."
Not sure what ATECH can do with iPhones. If you buy an Australian Market 5C you can have it repaired/replaced on the spot at an Australian Apple Store - or you can have it replaced via mail very quickly.
Tried adding blue to the cart, comes up at 679. Appears to be 609 for the white, didn't bother testing the other colours.
Apply coupon "RMN2013" for another $10 bring it to 609 shipped, not bad!
bit weary on the customer service/warranty claims tho..
Also just found this on the whirlpool wiki
By DWI-Admin Visa, Master Card and PayPal have a 2% surcharge, Amex and JCB have a 3% surcharge, Direct Deposit no surcharge.
Which would bring 609 to 621.18

How much extra?
How much extra?

It's a phone not medical/life/home insurance.

This iPhone costs more than my annual home or life insurance bill.
