    cheese block, at 25% off…but still at over $15per kg…

    I thought costco was supposed to be everyday cheap!

      Not everything is cheaper in Costco.
      But just a lot of things there is cheaper.

      The stuff I buy is usually 50% cheaper than outside.

      More specifically, the cheaper things I see there are:
      1. Bathroom Cleaning Products (Bam something is around 25% cheaper than others)
      2. Frozen products for example: Wonton + Noodle Soup is like $15 for 6, where as coles sells exactly the same thing for $7 for 2, other examples would be frozen marinated fish.
      3. Swarovski is cheaper, and is around US price

      Essentially from what I have seen, the prices are generally cheaper or the same as outside. Some are more expensive, but in the end you will be winning not losing.

      If you have a family (e.g. 2 adults + 1 kid) you can easily make up the membership price…

      Dude that's good value for Jarlsberg which normally runs at $20kg on special @ Woolies/Coles and around $30-32kg normally.

    Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate for $0.93 per 100g is a good price.
    DeBortoli Noble One is $0.81 cheaper than Dan Murphy's

      $22.80 DM price is per 6 bottles (any wines count)

      On a per bottle Costco is $2.01 cheaper - love the Noble One

      You are not comparing the same product.
      The US ToysRUs is just one potato.

      The Costco deal is one Giant Darth with the other 3 potatos and parts inside.

    Dan's sells it for $1888 so if you are looking for it, then it is a bargain.
