This was offer sent from GoPro newsletter with promotion code. Having just bought a Black Edition 3+ for $485 this seems like a good deal. The retail cost from the GoPro website (in US dollars) plus a 32GB card free, plus free shipping to Australia. For example, for a Black at $399 with exchange rate works out at approximately $440AU (with a 32GB memory card). Retail prices from website:
GoPro Hero 3+ White: $199US (approx. $220AU)
GoPro Hero 3+ Silver: $299US (approx. $330AU)
GoPro Hero 3+ Black: $399US (approx. $440AU)
Note:
The free memory card only valid until December 3 at 7:00 p.m. AEDT
Free shipping valid until December 16 at 11:59 local time
(even just with free shipping still not a bad deal)
Use the code FREESD, I didn't think the free shipping would apply to Australia but based on terms and conditions (copied below at the end) it looks like it does.
I am not sure what this means for warranty situations if bought from GoPro in US, would have to ask GoPro on that to check that.
