  • More people need to at least try this game out (even on 3DS). It should be well worth the system purchase along side Super Mario 3D World, Legend of Zelda Wind Waker or Pikmin 3.

    • Check out the NNID thread if you want to add other WiiU users to hunt with people. I'm HR3 as are my wife and son, we get on quite a bit lately.

Also OP should state that this comes with a WiiU Pro controller as well as the regular content.

      • I'll post on there when I'm able next.
My internet connection is **** due to satellite connection so no online play :(

If you already have a Wii U you can download a demo, I did. Couldn't understand why anyone would like it. Small maps between loading scenes, I hit kill two enemies and move to another small map.

Maybe I missed the fun part?

      • +2

        Yep, you missed it alright.

        • It could be a poor demo, sometimes you need to start from the beginning of a game and not be dump straight into it without the introduction.

      • If you already have a PC you can download a demo of Call of Duty, I did. Couldn't understand why anyone would like it. Small maps between loading screens, 1 shot kill 2 enemies and move to another small map.

Maybe I missed the fun part?

So sir, you've apparently written a multi-purpose troll comment template. Kudos to you.

Because I didn't like something you and others did I suddenly become a troll? Stop being so precious, I didn't insult you, the game or the Wii U.

Did you ever think that maybe the demo isn't particularly good? Also I don't particularly like Call of Duty either.

It's been that price at JB for ages and you can get it in store

  • +1

This isn't a bargain, like Mr Brinks said, this price has been there for ages.

    • It may not be a special price - but the bundle price is a very cheap price.

You get the actual game and the controller with the pro console (but no Nintendo Land though)
this is a bargain. I don't think your neg stands

Considering EB are selling most of their bundles at $428, this is a good price, regardless of how long it's been advertised.

    Wii U Pro Controller - $58
    Monster Hunter 3 - $69

$127 for those two at the cheapest price I could find them (as of 28/11)

    $399-127 = $272 - Pretty good deal on a Wii U Premium Pack.

If you break it down, it's a great deal.

Not to mention, if you are a game collector of sorts, this bundle will probably be highly sought after once it's out of stock.

I think it's finally time to pick up a Wii U. Thanks OP.

Agreed, this is a hard bundle to get hold of. As is the 3DS version of this bundle.

      • I'm actually incredibly worried it'll go out of stock real quick. I think i'll ring my local JB and secure one down :P

I've been putting off getting a Wii U for a while and missed out on the Dickies deal - but now's the time to invest I think. Some real good games out and about to be (Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World, MH3, Smash Bros/Mario Kart 8)

        I'm excited. (Y)

        • I've enjoyed playing Nintendo Land with my wife and kids and Lego Marvel is great as it uses the gamepad as a second screen in 2 player, no more getting dragged off of the screen by the other player (same feature is in the PS4 version using the Vita)

  • +1

The only reason I posted it was because I noticed people were looking for the monster hunter bundle and I hadn't seen any for ages, plus its a good bundle price compared to the $428 everywhere else for those crappy luigi bundles.

  • I got this bundle a while back, and honestly the game is great. Very suprised at how good it was, very addictive. Using the gamepad to select inventory and items is great, works quite well. Makes playing these types of games a lot more accessible.
