This title isn't correct. It's $3 and in August if you've earned over $5 in savings you will be sent a gift card.

Each dollar you spend you will get gift card points (NOT the gift card)
and you need to spend minimum $30 to accrue this point.At the end of promo (July), each 1000 gift card points become $5 gift card.
Essentially you need to spend $1000 to get $5.How much does a 1L cost normally?

The title of this deal is definitely misleading and should be changed.
It's a bad promotion that Coles runs. Too complicated and you have to registered. If you use a Flybuys card, they already have your details anyway, why make you register?
From T&Cs 10.5A "Gift Card Credit" of 0.5 cent is awarded for every $1 spent on the Eligible Purchase. Therefore the minimum you have to spend to get any money back is $60. (need to spend a minimum of $30 per purchase)

I don't think that is how the giant gift card giveaway works - $1 off. I think it is just an extra dollar added to your eventual gift card, if/when you earn enough points to receive it. Esentially it is $1 off, but not at the checkout, if you know what I mean.
