Good guys have these for $79 here in WA so I ask them to price match. Still $129 at Harvey Norman! They have three different colours but model numbers differ so price match may not work.

personally I'd need at least a 6 slice toaster these days to consider a upgrade…..

    • Hopefully not all 6 slices for yourself.

Buy 3 and a power board.

try making toast and having everyone else want it at the same time….. That's why :)
        P.S good deal anyway :)

yeah, but in chess I got Queened :(

  • So you get a $30 cashback* card. How can you spend? are there any limitations? e.g. use in Bing-Lee. Confused…

    • You can spend the giftcard at any location where EFTPOS is accepted. It is like a debit card.

      • Ok, that's what I thought. At least it's not orange this time.

  • Checkout failed for me, then after that it was no longer free shipping. Pity.

    • Just noticed free shipping to Eastern States only. Oh well.

      • stuffing over WA again it seems :( poor buggers

Damned Mining Tax alive and well.

        • As a SA resident, I like to feel like i'm getting screwed out of good things because of locale…… But lets be honest WA, NT and TAS get it much worse…… not to mention those islands……

  • Bought one, never receive the cashback.

    • all those that i know bought it got their cashback
depending on when it was submitted or how it was submitted, the waiting times varied

if you missed the postmark times, then you wouldn't be eligible
plus there's a contact number u can reach out and follow up on status

  • any colour as long as it's black?

  • I got one on a recent cashback. It's a great cashback offer and I got one from that.

FWIW I bought one of these when they were on special around the same price a few months back, received the cashback….HOWEVER it's not a very good toaster IMHO.

If you're doing more than one load of toast - e.g push down and toasting 1 or 2 slices - you have to either allow it several minutes to cooldown or adjust the timer DOWN else you end up with the second load cooking A LOT FASTER - and generally burning.

I believe this is a known fault of the model as IIRC it says something in the manual about allowing it several minutes between uses - which is really problematic for most users!

Perhaps others don't suffer from this but I have to adjust or stand watch on the 2nd load else it's the 'knife scrape over the sink' to get rid of the yummy carcinogenic bits!

    • my toaster i use now does that…….so did many i used before……..

  • thanks op, needed a toaster!

  • I went to TGG ask them to price match plus cash back offer. As I thought they have no ideas, the sale lady even said that "if I give you discount you can't claim cash back." I didn't believe her but the Kenwood web site doesn't say which is the participating store only say store with a shop front. I will call their office to confirm tomorrow.
Anyone have experience claiming this cashback after bought it from TGG?

    • She is wrong. The online claim form allows you to pick TGG as purchase store.

  • +1

yes, got a reply from kenwood stated the same, as long it is not a gift I can claim the rebate.

So I picked up the an orange one from TGG Casula for $39.95, after rebate it will only cost me $9.95.
They are clearing them out I think there may one or two left but only in orange colour TTM027. So good luck.

  • Got my $30 eftpos card today!
Couldnt beleive how fast it came!
    Thanks OP
