        The site is very buggy. I finally got it through, the last screen was "shopping cart is empty" but got emails from paypal and DS so the order went through. Invoice was very confusing, it included $30 and $50 cards. Will know when it is delivered.

          i had trouble with the site too, just thought it was my work PC then it also buggy on my mobile, so i ended up ordering on eBay even though will cost them more …note, they have now increased the $550 gift card from $500 to $550 on the eBay listing (was originally $500 on there)

        Yep, I bought a $550 card using my wish gift card too. It's in the payment stage of the checkout process. Not very clear, but there's a box to check that you want to pay using a gift card :)

    If you pay by woolworths gift card can you stack them? Or can you only use one? Lets say I went to woolworths to buy giftcards with ING card for additional 5% saving, what would be the best way to go about it? Could you just buy $500 giftcard at self checkout and split payments?

      I bought washing machine and using split pay 5times for rebate.
      After few days later,ING called me and said if you used too much they would close the account.
      so same thing will happen.

    I'm pretty tempted by a Macbook Air or Retina Macbook Pro using these.

    Seeing as I am going overseas in the next 60days and assuming DSE have another 10% sale in the next 2 months (which they always seem to do) I could get:

    13" 256GB MBA which is $1449 would be $1085 (assuming 10% off sale + 11 $110 Gift Cards + 9% you get back at the airport) (saving $364)

    15" 256GB Retina Macbook Pro which is $2499 would be $1863 (assuming 10% off sale + 4 $550 Gift Cards + 9% you get back at the airport) (saving $636)

    Which is pretty sweet… but i probably don't need them :P

          They just have a REALLY bad website - it's pretty sad when a technology company can't run a website :-(
          (I have pretty much had unusual bugs or issues EVERY time I have used their site in the last few years, and so have others I have spoken to)

    It still works for me. I tried ordering normally but it just redirected to the home page. I switched to incognito browsing and I'm not sure if it changes anything but it worked. Got my confirmation e-mail as well.

      wow, if you have a staff discount card this is what you can potentially do to get a cheap iPad Air
      e.g. buy Wish cards at 5% discount (ent book or MV club membership) to buy DSE gift cards at 9.1% promo discount with staf 5% discount and use the DSE gift cards to buy an iPad Air 16GB wifi RRP$598 with 5% staff discount = out of pocket $466.88.

    There seems to be quite a few iPad Air owners that have had issues with their screens - yellow patches or a darker stripe down the left side.

    I've read that DSE don't have a great return policy and can sometimes refuse returns for display issues such as these.

    Wondering if I should just stick to Apple - any thoughts?

        Problem with that is you will get a "refurb" replacement from Apple rather than new.

        I would assume they don't actually have any refurb Airs yet so you would probably get new anyway but worth considering.

    finally got through took about 100x tries page keeps refreshing back to checkout and buggs out with zero items in cart, finally got there.

    going for the ipad air 32gb which can be matched at 668$ confirmed with local DSE

    and then hopefully buy in a week's time to get TRS back as well

    so 5% + 9.09% + 10% GST .
