In store and online. Online, add shipping ($5.49 when I calculated).
Not a bad local price for this GPS watch. Hard to find cheaper unless you look overseas or 2nd hand.

Great price
The 620 has just been released, and it looks the goods
that's a really good price - i called up the store and it also includes a heart rate monitor! wiggle is selling the equivalent at $350aud (free shipping).
time to upgrade my 405cx??
Definitely! This watch is also touch screen, heres a review http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2011/04/garmin-forerunner-610-in-…
Time to upgrade my 205, if it is time to upgrade your 405 :)
i think Mio Alpha combo Iphone and Runkeeper is best
The problem with the Mio is that it has a single display (ie: it only shows heart rate or time etc). I previously had a HR watch with this limitation and it was annoying to the point that I went out and bought one that could display time and HR. The Mio does what its intended market wants it to do, but if it ever comes out with v2 with multiple display, then I would consider buying it - but by then, I'm sure it will have some competition.
I prefer even 3 on the display - time, distance and pace, which the Garmins do.
i am annoyed. i paid $500 about 3 months ago…
you guys are getting a bargain for sure
great watch btw, comes with the premium HRM in the box
My forerunner 310xt is still going strong, not sure if I should upgrade or not??
Definitely, I had the forerunner 310 and they are day and night.
Heaps more features, touch screen and doesn't look dorky.
Also the automatic upload of data, when I'm within 5 metres of the computer is excellent.
The only dislike I have for the 610 is the charger. It has it's own unique, cradle and 2 pin setup.
looks better than overseas prices even (uk cycle shops at least)
Rebel is selling the 210 for also $299. This one is a much better deal. Thanks OP!
Possibly a way to get an additional 5% off too: sign up for Rebel seasons pass at the checkout (may or may not work) http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/115497#comment-1577402
Great price - if this had been available when I was looking for a GPS / HRM watch I would have jumped on it - but went with the Suunto Ambit 2S instead. Might still go for it as a primary running watch and use the Suunto for anything further afield.
