Lol what a harsh review. I find the story fantastic. True it might not be a game and more like a movie but it is totally worth playing.
The Navajo chapter was amazing IMO
That review is garbage
"an ugly attitude towards humanity in general"
Is the reviewer new to video games or something?
Probably played nothing other than CoD.
Heavy rain was so epic, I was really looking forward to this game
But honestly, this game is kind of boring…….
Haven't played the game, but the review seemed pretty honest.
Don't forget to use the code to get $5 off.
FRENZIED-5
5 off 50
Thank you, deal updated. (and damn, I paid $5 too much)
No problem, this is a good game, not quite as good as Heavy Rain. But that 2.5/10 simply shows a lack of ability of the reviewer to let go of their pre-conceived notions of what a game should be.
How many times did you play HR?
How many times did you wish to play B2S after you played it once?
But if the price is $49.99 will it still qualify?
Play-asia loves to do this as well. Sell for 10 cents short of the cut off for a discount / free shipping.
It's 54.99.
This isn't just a game, it is an experience, almost like an interactive movie. If you don't like the sound of this, then the game probably isn't for you. I personally loved it.
That last chapter/ending…
+1 for humour.
Let's put this in simple way, you loved Allan Wake series? are you a diehard Ellen Page fan? Buy it now you won't regret. Otherwise, don't waste your good $40. This is not a "game" what's in your mind.
Alan Wake is a totally different gameplay experience.
you can't compare this to Alan Wake.
If you liked heavy rain and journey , you should love this too
I'm interested. I liked Heavy Rain. But the bad reviews are putting me off. In particular the criticism that your choices don't truly matter in the game. Well I guess Walking Dead was no different, but at least it gave the illusion that your choices mattered.
In HR, a lot of your decisions really did result in different outcomes.
I might wait until it's $40. That's my jump in point.
As someone who's about 2/3rds done with the game right now and has no plans on finishing it, this is the correct mindset. If you are REALLY into this thing, wait until it goes cheap in a few months time or buy it preowned. The voice acting and motion capture is superb and up there with The Last Of Us, but Quantic Dream really should have spent more time writing a story that actually gave you a level of tension to work with. Even something as simple as having told the story from a linear perspective could have actually made me care more about the decisions that have to be made.
Will still +1 because it was cheaper than what I paid for it.
personally, I thought the story was okay, it was just the chopping and changing of the timeline of the story…
The jumping back and forth is a missed opportunity. Actions in a later time obviously can't influence actions in an earlier time. So much of the consequence style gameplay of HR is lost just by design.
I'm keen to buy it but $50 still too much, I'd rather buy The Last of Us and play it first.
The bad review makes me sure it will go down to $25 in no time, maybe 6 months.
Good things comes to those who waits…

Exactly!! Now BTS is $29.50 on Play Asia
I'm marking this deal as expired, in disgust.
