I was at Officeworks this evening and noticed this Logitech keyboard & mouse combo for $28.
I have been using this keyboard & mouse for the last 14 months. It is really good - battery doesn't need replacing often. Also the usb dongle that comes with it is really tiny (not sticking out like those USB sticks - especially good for using on laptops).

Dicksmith had this for $45 (or $49) a few days ago when they were having a mouse sale.
JB HiFi has it for $45.

update: JB HiFi has dropped price to $28

  So, what exactly is battery life for mouse??
  All wireless mouse have been fail for me. Need to replace every 2 months. Should atleast last 6month or year.

    OW quotes 2 years battery life for the keyboard & 1 year for the mouse. YMMV.

    Depends on use. I am on PC 6-8 hours a day and below is the battery life.
    Keyboard once every 10-12 months. Mouse 3-4 months depending on use.

  Just my 2 cent on the product.
  Wireless range is excellent. Able to take it downstairs and still connects :).
  The keyboard is fine but the mouse (model m185 i think) is eh.
  The two sets that I got, the mouse is unable to draw straight lines.
  It wobbles too much for my liking.
  Cheap generic mouse do much better than this mouse lol.

    hmm. Ive already got a mini wireless keyword I bought. I really need a good cheap (:)) wireless mouse. All the ones I have ever bought have shocking battery like. Can anyone recommend a good cheap wireless mouse with decent battery (this one says its 12 month)

  Don't think its a bargain price, but definitely one of the cheapest wireless keyboard + mouse combos. Seems like the retail price for this combo at Officeworks, bought one last week. +1 for the first post though.
