Came across this site while looking for a watch for my girlfriend for Christmas (and ended up buying myself one).
The store reviews aren't all positive (http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.watchismo.com) but the majority of negative reviews are from customers who wanted to return items they didn't like (not a service most Aussies buying from OS expect).
The model I bought for U$250 (http://www.watchismo.com/nixon-51-30-chrono-matte-black-surp…) was U$389 plus shipping on Amazon (http://amzn.com/B005DJQ56Q), and a similar model in Australia has an RRP of A$699 (http://www.nixon.com/au/en/mens/watches/the-51-30-chrono-A08…). Worth the risk IMO!

    Really dont think these bodgy watch sites should be posted on Ozbargain…… I can post many, Many cheaper websites that I wouldnt dare buy off.

        B&R make watches sub 50mm though, which this appears to be..

        The square B&R's are at least 'different' looking ;)

        If you want big, go a Panerai in the 47mm range and look classy ;)

        any other Japanese quartz chrono? I just saw the RRP for the first watch… $1k asif. (also as opposed to my initial impressions of the brand and how much a Nixon watch is worth)

          The fist one is down from $500 to $250, not $1000 to $500.

          Ah! If that's the case, it makes a big difference (the "now" 500 made me think it was after discount)… yeh that's the price range I was expecting them to be in….

    Note.. You can't pull off the 51-30 if you're a skinny guy, it's a BIG face. Just looks wrong with skinny wrist.
