Hard to find much info on this model but seems like a pretty decent price for a 100hz 60" LED.
Edit - direct link fixed.

That .30cents kills the deal for me…
I clicked it all excited too… :(
For those wondering it's $59 delivery on this TV or free pickup. Normal price is $1998 according to this page and currently adds to the cart at $1998 which as per the topic hasn't been fixed up yet.

me thinks I'll get this…..I want to see it in person first though…..
Nice tv dispite I don't have 1.5k in my wallet now :(
Is this a normal 60" tv or a huge 60" tv? I am after one of the latter.
It's not a penis, x amount of inches will always be x amount of inches (no matter what the overcompensating salesperson says).
Has its similarities though…..can be turned on or turned off.
ok dad..
He's likes it in 16:4 but can only handle 4:3
SD Tuner? Really?
JB specs page says SD Tuner? But it's not, Sharp site specs have HD tuner - http://www.sharp.net.au/product-catalogue/products/LC60LE640… and RRP on their site is $2899
Also Sharp TV's have 3 year manufacturer warranty (LCD Televisions 36 months per their website).
Buy from Good Guys, and claim their 30 days price guarantee for the 120% difference?
really. can you pls elaborate
Good guys claim that if you purchased something from them and within 30 days you find it cheaper elsewhere, they will pay you 120% of the difference.
Link below: http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/buyonline/content/Price_Guaran…
Just want to confirm my maths here with this 120% GG "rebate":
GG price $1899
JB price $1443.30
Difference = $455.70
120% of Difference = $546.84
Final price = $1899 - $546.84 = $1352.16
Is this the correct calculation? Or am I missing something?
So is the TV 100HZ or 200HZ?
AquoMotion 200 - 100Hz panel plus 200Hz Backlight scanning system
It says "3D capable" what exactly means??
You have to buy the 3D glasses, according to a couple reviews I read they are battery powered and $149 each.
This is the best deal since I have seen on OzB for a >= 100Hz and higher LCD/LED TV. I bought a 55' 100hz Sony 2 years ago and it was the crispest TV I have seen, all for $1000, but alas, the remaining stock was so low, it never made it here.
Since I smashed that TV when I moved, I've been looking for a replacement. If the image is as crisp as my previous one, I'm in.
Caution to unfamiliar buyers, always walk into the store to inspect the quality of the image. Specs alone does not mean squat if the image is grainy or the colour isn't right (sure you can adjust that, but it is not 100%). No point have a 600hz 4k megatron TV if you're going to think it is sh*t anyway.
Anyone tried the 0% interest finance at JB? Do they have monthly keeping fee?
Cheapest price elsewhere seems to be $1831 @ PCN or $1835 @ Appliances Online. $1899 @ Good Guys & Harvey Norman.

I got this a few months ago from a Harvey Norman VIP sale for $1300 so a better price is definitely possible for this tv. Pretty happy with it, much better on power than my old 42" plasma
Good price, sounds like we can still negotiate down with JB on the 1443 price
I'll try dig up the receipt if it helps
Hi pranksta will inbox you my email if you wouldn't mind sending it to me. Thank
Can anyone find any info on the input lag? Can't work out if it will be any good for gaming.
good deal but I think I might wait 'till 4K TVs start to take off. 1080p will be so cheap and retro.
You will be waiting a while, thats fine of course, but if you are hoping it is in the next year or so, that's not going to happen. 4k content doesnt even have a medium yet. Also, you'll be waiting several months after 4k takes for FullHD to drop as the retailers will try to maximize profit from those before clearing them out. Pretty much the same scenario with HD to FHD
The Sony 60" one at JB looks pretty awesome for not much more also. Anyone know how they compare?
Here's the link:

looks like no 3D but built in Wi-Fi when compared to the Sharp.
Ah true, I missed that it doesn't mention 3D. I've seen the sony ones in person though and the image is amazing. So much so that I'd still consider it even without 3D. But I guess I'm not a fan of 3D and I'm one of those who thinks of it as a gimmick.
Just love how technologies is changing soo fast nowadays.
Soon this will be old-gen, and just collecting dust.
Oh well, good price if you need it.
All,
I bought this TV after the LG's were out of stock (and returned it within the same week). The JB Hi-fi dude told me it was 200Hz, etc…
From my short 1 week living with this tv, it's terrible. Don't even bother trying with Wi-Fi as you'll need to buy a wifi USB antenna purpose built for this tv. The LG I bought (finally found 1 in stock) is much better!
This is what I had to say back then (7 - 8 mths ago):
"i bought a Sharp Aquos 60 inch 60LC60LE640x from them last Sunday for $1842 (ticket price was $1998)…now the same model is sub $1700 during this sale…luckily the salesperson told me it was a 200Hz at time of sale (which it wasn't), so i took it back for a refund this morning…They didn't even want to price match the $1700..so too bad, they are now left with a used Sharp in their inventory + my Nexus 7 3G (since they said I had to return the whole lot to them)…If I was the store manager, i would seriously discipline the staff there…misleading selling, bad attitude at time of refund, and didn't want my business…it was like "take it or leave it" kind of attitude…
ended up ordering the LG 60LM6450 online instead…sick and tired of salespeople who don't put customers 1st…"
AND
"Oh, I forgot to add….I originally wanted the LG TV, but they didnt have stock, so hard-sold me the SHARP claiming it was comparable to the the LG. The Tv was suppposedly:
1.200hz. I checked the website after buying and was disgusted at being duped to by a 100Hz.
2.had 1 pair of active glasess included (and were willing to give me a 2nd pair). I opened the box and the glasses were "optional"….so duped there as well…
3.and the SHARP had LAN only (no wifi)..the Wifi adaptor (if u could buy one, was like another $100)….
Extremely dis-satified…and i would have made a big scene in store this morning if they didnt refund me my money…"
So you returned tv because of:
(1) it is 100hz
(2) no wifi inbuilt
It should be appreciated if you provide real point of review like pros and cons..
I would have to agree. I do appreciate the large amount of text written, but it would be nice if it discussed what was good or bad about the tv specifically. The picture quality was superior on the LG compared to the sharp? Was the refresh rate actually an issue that you could notice the difference for?
I am no technical expert, but:
Do your own research on it pls. There's probably a reason why there's still stock left after so many months after it's release…
Thanks for that. Slow GUI and lack of vibrancy are a big deal for me. I think I'd opt for the Sony one for slightly more even though it lacks 3D because GUI and vibrancy are crucial to me but 3D isn't really.
seems like good guys has undercut this deal by $1.30
http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/buyonline/Sharp_60%22%28152cm%…
Yep, looks like they've undercut all the deals by a buck or two.
Grabbed one. Stupid sales guy was trying to upsell me to a $4k ultra HD TV (?)… someone else ended up with whatever small commission they would get from this.
Thanks OP
What you peeps reckon with Sharp compared to this Sony?
http://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-lcd-led-plasma/sony/55-inch-w800…
Same price.
You lose 5 inches
But gain:
400Hz Screen Refresh Rate
Built in wifi
4 Pairs Of 3D Glasses Included
Go for sony..
visit store and compare yourself..Sony quality much superior then sharp(for this model!!)
400 and 200hz, can you really tell?
price change is up now but you missed the 30 cents…….
Edit: I see you click directly on the tv and the price is still high.
