does it apply to shipping aswell?

    • +6

      They never include the shipping!

    • Vistaprint always charge for shipping on these kind of vouchers unless you can get a product that explicitly states that shipping is included like with iPhone cases and promotional marketing materials in the past (best magnetic clips ever!).

Shipping is generally very reasonable when you consider what your really getting for that money, like $4odd for a phone case. But it can't be stated because it changes depending on what items you pick and how many.

    • Just got an email saying free shipping for the next 48 hours!!! Perfect timing!!

      • On any particular items, or just in general?

Just got an email saying free shipping for the next 48 hours!!! Perfect timing!!

Fine Print: Free Delivery 14 day on orders over $1, 7 day on orders over $50, 3 day on orders over $70!
Edit: and depending which account level you're on, 7 day over 80 & 3 day over $100!!!

        • any chance of a link please?

        • Yeah, but let me just grab my DeLorean first!!! LoL
Most VP links and offers generally only last a coupe of days to a week before they expire… And this one was now 3 weeks ago!!!

You can also use TAKE30 for a $30 discount!!! (Waiting to see someone else post this as their own!)
But I'm not sure what's going on this time. It says it's applying the discount, but it's not coming off the total. I'll have to keep playing around to let you all know what's going on, maybe try a different account!
Edit: OP, if you want to include this code in the title for others, go for it!!!

Just finished checkout, I'm getting 10 cards for $7.31 delivered.

        • I got 10 cards too, the card themselves were free after voucher codes, but the delivery was $8.63. I'm wondering whether that's because I paid with PayPal, rather than by credit card? I.e. does anyone know if they add a surcharge for PayPal?

    • -2

Rough neg Orpheus. Just because the deal doesn't work for you doesn't mean it isn't a bargain. It's for new customers. I see below you created a new account, but maybe they recognised your paypal? Even if that's not the reason why it didn't work, a comment would be more appropriate.

  • OK, think I've worked it out… OP said:

Just got this in the mail. $20 off for New Customers.

I tried with two accounts that have already been used (punished) and it didn't subtract from the total, but when I tried another account that I haven't previously ordered with, it gave me the $30 off.
So my suggestion is, if you really want the $30 (or just the $20… LoL), you'll have to open yet another 'New Account'!!!

    • -5

I tried with a new account twice with the $20 and another with the $30. It showed the discount at first, but when I got to the end of the checkout after Paypal it removed the discount without telling me.

      • +1

I'll have another look!!! I'm yet to let VP beat me!!!

        • Not sure what's going on for you… But make sure you log out of VP before creating your product and maybe don't use any links.
I just created 'another' account on checkout and it gave me the discount. Check out the checkout pic.
Soz, it does work, but took a little stuffing around first!!!

        • use TOR?

      • clearing cache/cookies might help

      • +2

This happened to me the other day too!

You need to not pay through Paypal. As soon as I switched to paying through Vistaprint's own system, I got my discount :)

    • When I tried it even worked when I do guest checkout…

      • I was just about to ask you how you did guest checkout… But I just found it. It doesn't give you that option on most items, but I did find it on the Xmas cards! Not sure what else you can do it with?

  • need something with free postage.

    • i will add, mugs for $3 each isn't bad.

      • +1

Not sure when you first started using VP, but I sure miss those days of promo products with free shipping!!!

Hey Scotty, I recieved an email today from VistaPrint with a coupon code APOLOGY20. Its a $20 dollar coupon, but works with existing accounts. I'm pretty sure it's not single use so feel free to add it to the post.

    • This one worked great.

  • +3

I still haven't received my stuff from the last one.

  • +1

Picked up 1000 front and back colour business cards for $4.98 + $8.35 slow shipping using 'apology20'. The other codes said they had been applied, but no change in the total. Thanks Scotty and Animus! :)

    • I am quite sure only one coupon code can be applied per order (no coupon stacking), use whichever gives greatest discount.

      • Don't think he was trying to stack. I originally had the same thing happening to me with the 'take' codes. It's for new members only, so you'd have to start up a new account with a new email address!

        • You are not a new customer then.

        • +1

That's the wonderful thing about VP. You just simply sign up with a new email address, and voilà… You're a new customer!!! Doesn't matter what address or Paypal account you use either.

    • does that mean you got it free?

      • No, not free, you have to pay shipping. It's not a freebie since you are still paying an amount.

Correct me if I'm wrong if some are getting free shipping.

  • thanks

  • +1

Thanks Scotty, bought some. Take30 works but they always get you on the shipping.

  • Thanks scotty. Ordered some free business cards as gift tags and a few other things :)

  • During the last year has VistaPrint addressed the issues that lead it to being banned on OzBargain?
    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/81064#comment-1045724

    • From the moderation logs they were unbanned in May. Probably allowing people to post those coupon code.

      • I asked the question a while back (being an avid VP user) and was told that they'd allow actual coupon codes but not posting the links to cheaper items that you see in emails everyday due to the varying nature and eligibility of the content within!

From the moderation logs they were unbanned in May.

About the same time VP cottoned onto the re-using of codes to order multiple free promo products! OzBargained

  • Only APOLOGY20 worked for me.. was time for new business cards

  • I really wish they'd improve the quality of their T-shirts. (Not that I'll ever know if they do… rip your customers off once and they… won't be.)

  • Thanks. Got 1000 premium glossy single sided business card for $50.

    • I got the same but double side colour for 8.35.

      • But you cannot stack coupon codes?
Did I miss something? I got 30% off the order total but shipping was fixed price.
Either way it's a business expense and the owner was prepared to pay up to $100 so he was happy.

        • I just googled for vistaprint coupons and went through a link and the prices for cards were discounted. It was $32 dollars then I applied the $30 discount coupon and it came up as zero. I just had to pay for shipping of 8.35 which was also 25% off.

  • Their system is quite strange with the coupons hey!? I went through umming n ahhing about a few things yesterday and the coupon yielded different results on the same items at different times of the day.. at one point it was going to give me 75% of my order for the TAKE30 code, then 88%, then my whole order was reduced as it somehow deducted $42.50 with the TAKE30 code… so i got a stack of flyers for the cost of postage… nice!

I bought $200 worth of stuff for free and just paid $14 postage for 14 days one.

It was an email offer but when i asked my sister to try before posting on ozbargain she said it told her to enable cookies.

    Here is the link
    http://www.vistaprint.com.au/vp/welcomeback.aspx?GP=11%2f10%…

    someone can try it out.

Note: i used the take30 for my mum(new account) and got the following items for $14 (14 day postage option)

    • mug
    • 2 bag clips
    • premium business cards
    • starter business cards (made them as gift tags)
    • appointment cards (made them into thank youcards)
    • calendar
    • address label
    • 50 postcards (made them into birthday invitations)
    • magnet business cards
    • I'm sure they are well aware of this loophole by now. What a bunch of loot for a pittance, almost robbery ;)

  • Already shipped even though I chose 14 day slow shipping. :O

    • Mine too but the ETA is a ridiculous 23/11 , that's 10 days away. I noticed their address is listed as being in the Netherlands so this explains the long wait for delivery.

      • Depends on the item. Some stuff is printed in Australia. Other stuff isn't.

I once ordered invitations and envelopes. The invitations were on my door step in a week as they were printed in Australia. The envelopes were printing in the Netherlands (or was it Belguim?) and took significantly longer.

        • I've had orders of the exact same thing (promo items) split and made in both places. Funny enough, some things were actually quicker from the Netherlands!

My Business Cards (premium, front and back printed) just got delivered. I noticed they are now printed in Australia, versus Denmark (or some other European country) in the past.

The matte is actually pretty glossy compared to the European matte, which isn't too bad. 1000 cards at $30 shipped (priority, got it in 3 business working days). The colour was slightly different but I guess that happens when you change printers.

+1 Vistaprint. Truly deserve the .com.au TLD now :)

  • I also received mine yesterday, after choosing slow shipping. Pretty good considering I purchased on Saturday. Bought two notebooks for about $9 all up. Paid extra for additional pictures or something, I can't remember. Anyway, they look great! Glossy photo-like covers, very colourful. Kinda wish I'd made one for myself.
