I still dont think the logitech stuff is worth it

    not worth it at all.

Yet when I tried replacing my G35's at DS a few months ago they claimed they don't stock them anymore, and gave me a 50% refund.

  • Pass.

  • G keyboards are low quality in my opinion. Have had two over the last 5 years. G15v2 wore out - F4 key and then some of the letters. G510 had a rarely used key break.

Would think as a gamer you're much better off with a more durable keyboard - maybe a mechanical.

    • what advantages do they have over standard keyboards if they're not mechanical? confirugable keys?

  • I'm waiting for Logitech shop end of year sales.

I've used a g15 (blue display with 12 programmable keys??) and a current red version, two keybaords over 8odd years. The only reason the blue one died was it did not react well to liquid being poured into it :((. I have liked them both. I've not had any keys wear out. I've used the aswd keys soooo much, even the lettering is still clear, without any wear showing at all. The old Mitsubishi keyboards would wear the letters off.

I also had an MX500? mouse for 8odd years, wore it out, it was a good mouse for the price. Bought a G9X just recently to replace the MX500. Previous to that I simply used the MS mice.

On something really off topic, my brother created what you'd call today an app that calculated the distance travelled by our mice in metric measurements (created a pixel to metric conversion ratio). Back at school one of my mates racked up over 300KM before his MS mouse died. During loading screens it was a competition to see who could clock up as much distance on the mouse while waiting :)
