I don't see how 2 baby bottles at $89 can be considered a bargain, even WITH a 10% discount. Why wouldn't you just take pre-warmed water in an insulated carrier and buy bottles that were a tenth of the price, or less? For instance, Avent bottles can be gotten on special 3 for $10.
I can see both options being useful in their own way. The 'bargain' is the current offer of a discount off RRP and the extra heating module thrown in.
A flask of pre boiled water etc would be cheaper, but not as convenient or last as long if out all day unless you have a top of the line flask that does keep the heat longer.
If you use the flask early in the day the water is still too hot and you have to wait ages for it to cool to the right temperature.
These bottles heat up when required to the correct temperature within minutes. Very handy with a screaming baby in a restaurant etc in need of urgent feeding.
