Not sure on what the price will be for the PS3 or XBOX360 version but buy it on the 31st of october get $10 off and then when PS4/XBONE is release upgrade for $14.95.
The $10 discount should offset most of the upgrade cost.

where does it say it is $58 in online catalogs shows $69, i know big W is having a promo for $58 that starts thursday 31/10 maybe that is why your local will not sell it at that price today, but game is def out today

Because yes, AC4 is a duplicate of AC3. Copy/paste the code but rewrite the character, nobody will notice. Play last years edition. Or better yet, wait until next year, the 2014 version may even have some new features we haven't seen 1000 times before (but don't hold your breath).
Also, I only paid $58 for Batman, but it's $58 too much (I had to take it back today to avoid projectile vomiting). If you're a gaming enthusiast, give them both a miss.

Went to Target Cairns Central this morning at 9am and the store had not received its stock. Went tonight at 6pm and the game was on the shelves. It was stickered at $79 but scanned up at $58 and the $10 worked no problem. $48 for a brand new release AAA game… bargain. Reviews are up: 8.5/10 IGN, 9/10 GameSpot.
