No, It's not… So long as it states '+GST' or 'ex GST'. It's just that the Australian public doesn't like it and isn't used to it that way, so stores 'usually' choose to have it included in the final advertised price!
If you are not 100% sure don't express your opinion like a fact on public forums.

Not that I always believe what this site says to be gospel, but in this case it is right. I did also check out the ACCC to confirm.
But I do want to say in my defence with my tail between my legs, that it wasn't always this way in retail. I've now been in import/wholesale for quite some time and everything listed, quoted and sold is still ex GST prices!
Also the comment made by atitshah87 was false. The site shows all individual item prices including GST. At checkout it simply breaks down the components as a total!
Yes, it does show the ex GST total, but it certainly is not adding GST to the price of items shown in the cart. So I don't think it is misleading at all… potentially just confusing by showing the ex GST details!
Pity this $20 voucher does not seem to work for the "2 for $XX" type deals.

No minimum spend it seems, but adding GST to items that aren't exactly cheap to begin with at checkout as well as the $9 shipping kinda sucks

They are not adding gst to the advertised prices. The t shirt at $49.95 is the price including gst. Granted though there total prices section at checkout is a bit confusing.
