I know $5 is a good deal for a chopping board and all, but I think this chopping board is not very practical, it will be really hard to keep it clean. Also, based on the picture, I would highly doubt the juices would actually end up in the bowl because it looks like there's a gap.
But that's just me. Majority would disagree since this chopping board is now sold out. :)
I agree. But I would just turn it upside down and use it as a cheap wooden chopping board :P

I also bought this when it was $10. The spike and gravy bowl are removable and yes, the gravy does not collect in the bowl. The meat also does not stay put very well on the spikes. Turn it upside down and use as a chopping board.
i ordered two of these two weeks ago. they are certainly substantial chopping blocks, over 3kg in weight. great value for $5.
