Thank you. I will have a good day. You have a good day too :)

  • Ok price. Only 100HZ though.

    • All broadcasts in Australia are 50Hz. Blu-Rays movies are 24Hz.

    • It does Motion Flow 400 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion_interpolation)
      http://www.samsung.com/au/consumer/tv-audio-video/television…
Why do you need more than 100? Even computer monitors do not usually have more than that (most are 60).

    • "Don't buy this TV, its numbers that I know nothing about aren't as high as another TVs!!!!"
      Just, wow…

    • Price is pretty good if you want this TV. Myers original price was $2700 for this but over the weekend had it at a 'great' 20% discount still $2220 (approx) and tried to sell it to me, even though it was about $100 cheaper anywhere else. TV itself is pretty good, but i decided on the LG 60LN5710. Same size, smart as well and got the 200hz motion(no 3d but thats a joke anyways). It arrived yesterday really happy with it. Its normal price is the same as the samsung btw.

  • Anyone used the video camera with this type of TV? Any good? Expensive?

  • I have a 100hz at the moment and when im watching fast moving videos you can see ghosting. My friend has a 200hz TV and when i watch the same movie its perfect.

I know next TV i get will be 200Hz for sure.

  • For an extra $100 you can get the Sony KDL60R550A
This will not record on USB, does not have the bells and whistles that Samsung has, but comes with 4 3D glasses and has 200Hz refresh rate.
What is the general opinion Sony VS Samsung?
CORRECTION - it may be 100 refresh as well (although JB page says 200), MotionFlow 200.
Also it used polarization for 3D (glasses are cheap passive)

    • Motionflow 200 = 50 Hz.

      • motionflow 200 is 100hz

  • This might be a better alternative for the same size but only for $1092: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/119095

Plasma old tech 600watt TV vs new tech 150watt the cost running it over 5 years is not worth it.

      • Rubbish. While Plasma power consumption is higher, research suggests you need to have the LED for at least 9 years at a minimum of 5 hours a day to make up the difference in average cost between the 2 panel types. Plasma is still the superior technology too, contrast only matched or comparable by the very top of the line LED panels, which blow out the running cost benefit anyway.

Any Samsung or Panasonic plasma is superior to this thing in nearly every circumstance.

        • Please let the plasma die, there wont be any being made in 2015, the plasma uses ATLEAST 4 times more power than a LED, if you spend $200 a year to run a LED over 5 years = $1000 x 4 = $4000 for a Plasma, Now if you want to go on "typical power consumption" not "max" the 60" LED's are around 50-80watts while the plasma's are 200-300watts…

          Edit: Lets say LED 60" $2000 purchased + $1000 running over 5 years = $1000 = $3000 <— New Tech
          Plasma 60" Purchase price $1000 + running over 5 years = $4000 = $4800 <— Old Tech

Forgot to mention No laying that plasma In the boot to take home you have to pay for postage to + $50-$100 Then you have Burn in Issues (Foxtel logos stuck on screen) They run alot hotter and there heaps thicker…

Also that research you suggest was probably when LED 60" were $10,000

        • Burn in? You're joking right? Not sure where you're pulling that gorilla math from either… By the way, you can't spell.

LED can't compete with Plasma for a true, natural 'video' like picture. Better blacks. Ask any videophile.

So what if plasma does die in 2015? Explain how this has any relevance here?

        • Too true Marto. Agree entirely. Though you forgot to mention the misappropriated use of apostrophe and other grammatical errors.
