I wouldn't trust Aldi technology products
Actually, Tevion is a well-known brand in Germany and other parts of Europe. Also, Aldi have a excellent 60 day refund policy/satisfaction guarantee as long as you keep all the packaging and accessories. I would even go as far as saying that Aldi probably has the best returns policy out of all the major retailers (I've actually heard of people returning faulty items six months down the track and Aldi were still happy to give a refund!).
So that means you can buy the STB and if it's a quality product then you picked up a bargain, otherwise if it turns out to be a dud, you can just return it and get your money back. Seems like a win-win situation to me.

http://www.aldi.com.au/au/html/service/3795.htmI agree with GreenGuava's comments here. The 60 day satisfaction guarantee outweighs many retailers who offer you a 14 day policy. I never judge on make/brand rather model and features.
This doesn't seem to be a bad offer given the price. Personally I'd rather pay about 50 bucks for a HD set top box without the HDMI for the main reason is, my CRT TV does not have a HDMI input (Only want to pay for what I use, but it would lower the production cost of the actual unit).
I don't judge on brand, except for LG
I bought my medion netbook from aldis around 6 months ago.
Cannot fault it, great price, great product.
My Dad's had a Medion PC for ages. Lasted much longer than my Acer (I had my Acer for less than 2 years and had to replace it - he got his Medion many years before mine)
Offer is only from Apr 23rd!! So get ready to be at an Aldi by 0900hrs this Thursday!
Meh, Tevion is junk. Just try to find their web site! Support is provided in Australia by Hills.
Then again most stuff from China is crap these days…
This particular Set Top box looks identical to the one Aldi were flogging before Christmas which had an audio lag issue that requires an R32 cable and firmware to be applied to fix.
Very good, last week I bought a BUSH HD STB from Good Guys at the same price.
