    $9.90 shipping kinda kills it

  • That's a lot of money for 30 lumens. For that price you can get a 300lm torch and bike mount shipped.

Search for 'frog light' on eBay.

You'll find similar stuff for under $5.00 delivered.

  • I actually like this one because it uses AAA instead of the Tablet batteries. It would get it if there was free shipping.

  • Where in the world would 30 Lumens be described as "Super Bright"?

If you want a cheap front light for a bike, I recently bought this one and I'm very happy with it. $3 delivered.

Visible from 500m away, shines enough light for you to see the path in front (I wouldnt be using it for night time mountain bike riding though!), and runs on AAA batteries (I use my ozbargain approved Eneloops).

Very cheap, and beats my old $20 light I bought from a bike shop hands down.

    • good recommndation, only 5 available / 8 sold in 24 hours (one from me!)… lol

  • Shipping kills it.

  • Its genuine Knog and even with shipping its still a good price.

It might only be 30lumens but I'm betting its brighter than the equivalent ebay 3,000lumer/ 6,000,000 candlepower units.

  • $10 bike light set (front and rear light) from aldi this week, so much better. I found these plastic type lights crack or fall off after a while. Also they aren't meant to be used as a primary light as they aren't visible enough.

    • If your talking about the Knogs your comments show that you obviously never owned one.

Even their cheap frogs are very very visible (although they throw stuff all light to enable you to see).

I've had my frogs on for over 2 years, rain hail and shine (around 100km/ week) and the silicone rubber is still in good condition.
