    danke…

  • Sorry if I seem ignorant, but is this the kind of thing you can put on your résumé?

    • +1

Some people would include these courses in a CV, but some would not… I think it depends on your situation, what career level you are in, etc.

Some reading on the topic: http://www.ere.net/2013/04/29/why-massive-open-online-course…

Yes and I'd put it under it's own section of Open Learning. Making it seem more like formal education wouldn't be good but otherwise it's generally a positive.

        • +1

I agree, I would do the same. Taking and completing MOOC courses show your passion to the chosen career field which is always good to highlight in a CV.

    • +2

I would include it in the resume if I manage to complete the course. It gives the impression that you are the type person who could learn new things on your own, know how to manage time, etc. Just like you would include activities outside formal education in your resume.

      • Awesome, thanks for the advice guys.

  • Aren't all these just watered down versions of the courses?

Then again real brick and mortar universities are watering down their courses. If you completed a MATH course 5 years ago, it would have been much more difficult than today…

    • They've watered it down then added a year, so you cover everything but you pay for an extra year now.

  • Thank you O.P.

signed up to course #1. Can't wait to start.
