    • Would have been nice to have got them to price match the Dick Smith or Officeworks iPad deals last week.

Though, now that David Jones electronic items are going to be sold by Dick Smith have they been clearing out all their current electronics stock?

      • except idt malvern unlike highpoint sells ipads :(

    • There was a similar AMEX promotion in May 2013 when David Jones opened their store at High Point (VIC). I got $50 back when I purchased a gift card worth $200. I wonder if it will work, although now the Terms and Conditions do mention that gift cards are not eligible. Is AMEX able to differentiate between gift card transactions and normal merchandise purchases? Should I take the risk? Has anyone tried it?

  • You've got til Thursday…

  • good one

  • How do people find out about these deals?

I only ever hear about them through OzB.

    • and why only now when the offer's already been going for 2wks?

  • I get emails, however not for this (though I am in QLD).

  • Doh! I made a big purchase at DJ yesterday on my Amex but I didn't go to Malvern store. :(

I went to Chaddy instead which wasn't far from there.

  • Has anyone tried to increase their credit limit on the Amex site lately? I got a letter today saying that I'm eligible for an increase, but when I apply for it on their site, it won't let me continue.

It comes up with a Javascript Void (0) thing at the bottom left of the screen. I've tried it in both Firefox and Internet Explorer, and I've uninstalled and re-installed Java, but it's still there. I've also disabled my pop-up blocker. :-(

Looks like the gig is up. Clearly they have just found out about your dodgy financial dealings.
