A $50 discount per 1K is not bargain enough, sorry. It's a good product though.

If you take in to account the cost of the 2x 3d glasses we are bundling in for free (cheapest on staticice $116), from what we can see we are significantly cheaper than anyone else in Australia at the moment.

  • Just a quick search on google (best value 3d projector)
    http://www.projectorcentral.com/top-3d-projectors.htm

    BenQ W1080ST is highly rated.
    Thanks OP

  • how is the gtx 670? I have a 550ti and was considering an upgrade.

Looks like about 3X the performance:

Looks like cheapest on staticice is 339:

So this is a good price (but a new range of GPUs was announced this morning, so everyone is expecting price drops soon, so it may not be a great price in a month, but who knows).

      • thanks very much, im not in a huge rush but if its a really good price I might just do it. I am not having issues playing the games I play, but settings are not maxed (and im happy with that)

With that exact reasoning (new range being announced) I stuck myself with a card that was reasonably high-powered back in 2008-2009 until about a month ago when I bought myself a 670 iChill which we had a special on.
There's always a reason to wait it out. New range (but then why buy the old range when for a little more, you can get the new one?), price drops of old range being phased out, price drops of new range which the price might drop after initial release, Australian dollar rumoured to get better, etc.

I'm happy with my purchase, even if I only have about 2 hours a week to play games.
Edit: and I am a high-settings whore. I love opening up a game for the first time and setting just about everything to max and playing it without issue. I'm glad to be back in that boat again!

  • I grabbed 2 of your Inno3d GTX670's from your last sale and have been happy with them. They are running in 4-way SLI at the moment and have been able to run most things that I have thrown at them on high settings without any dramas, with the exception that my rig now draws over 1KW at the wall :P

my rig now draws over 1KW at the wall :P

Got a pic of this 1kw measurement?

  • Hi OP,

Are you able to do a deal like this deal before,

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/109615

    Thanks.

    • Sorry Chrishang,

The previous deal was based on a previous batch of stocks cost price and unfortunately isn't possible on the newest batch.

  • Hi

Is there a beginners guide to projectors somewhere? I'd like to get one. This seems like an ok deal compared to previous deals on ozbargain, but is it a good projector (i.e. is http://www.projectorcentral.com a good place to get an opinion on projectors?)
