  There isn't much on tlstra net though is there for the 520… maybe $14-$26.67 a-gb.

  Just going to use mine as a sat nav for now in the car i needed a new one. Maybe get an unlock code in a few months time.

  I am trying the Manila contacts now. They reckon it can be unlocked and want 500 pesos (about $12).

  I'll let you know how I go.

      Yep no luck…

      500 pesos buys you a lot over there, but they can't do it, not even manually at the moment

  To all those looking for a unlock code for this phone, just got mine unlocked from ITZ not that cheap at $23 USD but its done the job and now running my TPG (Optus) sim.

    Yea thats about $25 Aus still its a good phone for $124 unlocked $99 + $25.

    Why does the price of unlocking a phone vary so greatly?
    They must know they have a monopoly over the codes , therefore charging a higher price.
