I think this particular email was sent to those who picked Randwick as their favourite store (which is about to close down). So there is particular emphasis on Bondi because it's the nearest to Randwick. But I'm pretty sure you can use the voucher @ any EB store.

I redeemed an eb world voucher Monday, they work it into the transaction manually, it doesn't scan automatically (according to my store anyway)
Doesn't work in Golden Grove. Basically told me to take a hike and it was only valid at the closest store to Randwick.
(even though it doesn't say that anywhere).

Yep went into a EB store yesterday just to check it out, when i spotted the $109, i actually LOL in the store.
$78 Big W, $79 at Kmart/Target, EB 20% off $109.95 = $87.96
pretty sure it is for people affected by the Randwick store closure, as in come to Bondi or the next closest store you have access to. Would be nice for someone to prove it wrong though :)

It looks like a unique code given because you were a shopper at Royal Randwick.
They just hand out a flyer for the 20% off at bondi store whenever you make a purchase at the Randwick store.
But you dont get 20% off in that purchase, you get a 20% off flyer to be used at Bondi next time.
EB Games George Street closed too. Prices were always through the roof and JB Hifi was across the road.
There is no way this is meant for everyone to use. EB will do a damage control and stop this being abused I'd imagine. They will say you need the original flyer to use it.
If not, great, I'll shop at EB again for the first time in ages.

I got a similar email for an EB which closed in May 2013 in WA, and the barcode number is the same (1622901)…this might just work lol!

Just asked about it at City Cross store in SA. They hadn't seen it before but after calling head office (i think?) they were told the stores will only accept it if it has been emailed to you directly.

Confirmed working in Melbourne CBD and Chadstone store.
Just scored a PS VITA 3G/WIFI, Killzone Mercernery and a pre-owned 4gb memory card for $222 ish. Seeing how pre-owned PS VITA is being sold for $180ish on gumtree, I'm pretty happy with this.
Looks like this voucher mostly doesn't work unless you take someone by surprise. Seems like a fraud on the part of EB Games.
