If you checked the reviews or listened to people with experience with AFL games, you'd wait till it was much cheaper.

"Fools rush in" certainly applies with AFL games. Hire it out and see if you like it and save the extra $40 if not and purchase yourself some trousers.

Get it from EB Games and you can return it within 7 days so they can sell your copy as "new."
I'll be returning mine today to get my $69.95 back! Someone else can enjoy the free 7-day trial of my game.

    • Sadly the cheapest I've seen the other afl versions is $46

    • First game was pretty good. Big of a learning curve and some AI issues but overall was a decent game. Hope no 2 improves its Ai

Why o Why did they pick such a cheap looking cover for the game.

    • +2

They spent their budget on the rest of the game.. o wait

If you hit the controller combo up up x x x, Hirdy goes into a steroid induced rage and punches everyone on and off the field :P

Is there a cheat code you need to enter to enable the 'dwarf arson' mini-game?

Play as Clint Jones in the backline. Down, X, Up, back

If you play as St Kilda star Stephen Milne (aka the rapist), you can do anything you like on an off the field :P

      • Yeh like rape players as they go by?

    • +1

I heard finishing the 'dwarf arson' minigame unlocks the 'beat up a guy in a wheelchair' minigame. Let no-one say these games lack depth.

Can't play as SANFL teams. That BuIIshit.

    • Probably because its not SANFL live…

      • +1

In mattlol's defence, it's not TAC or VFL live, but those teams are in the game.

        • What about other states? Apologies if its just SA footy

    • Can't play diamond creek division 4. That's shit hahahha flog

  • Didn't Sam Reid get delisted? Cover fail

    • Signed a 5 year deal last year….comment fail?

      Game is also disgusting.

    • He's injured

      • No Sydney list management fail. Hack player. I hear they Gona trade him to gws for a Mars bar

  • Bought this from Target last week for $60. Absolutely terrible game, played it for all of 10 minutes. DO NOT recommend. Utter rubbish.

Ill be buying Rayman ($40 target) and using it along with afl live 2, to trade in for a copy of gta5 at JB.
(Current JB deal: trade in 2 games from a select list, get a new release game in return)

A lot of guys on Whirlpool have picked up Tomb Raider or Halo 4 for around $20 to $30 to use in that deal…not as convenient as Rayman though.

You ppl should learn how to play the game before dumping shit on it. I agree its not as fluent as it can be but its only 2nd version. Remember gta 2? It was like controlling a peice of bird shit around a map. Afl live is a decent game with adequate game play. Learn how to play it and u mite enjoy it a little more

    • Mastering of controls does not mean its a good game. General consensus says its crap then it probably is. I know all its predecessors are.
