It's a huge theater and I've rarely seen it sell out so probably not a big deal that 2,500 3,226 have been sold. Starthere is also offering 7.5% cashback for Groupon purchases.

  • I was able to buy 2 vouchers/tickets, even though you're supposed to be limited to 1 only. Looking forward to watching Despicable Me 2 - 3D when it comes out.

    • id actually save it for another movie since despicable me 2 has imaxs promotional family pricing and tickets are already pretty cheap for it, im saving it for either this years blockbuster Gravity or alternatively Thor 2

  • I'm still disappointed I missed the Sydney one :(

  • sold out :(

  • PS to the OP youve mentioned youve never seen it sell out try seeing a blockbuster at imax in the first few weeks of its release, unless you book months in advance fat chance, or alternatively youll get stuck with the crappy seats at the bottom , Imax is my local cinema and i learnt very quickly the need to plan in advance when seeing a new release movie
