  • How did you get the email about this so early? Mine only just came through now….about 4 hours later. The same thing happens with Catch of the Day. For some reason I get the email hours later after the deal has started, and pretty much sold out.

  • I spent $224 last night at 8pm and they are unwilling to cancel my order or provide $25 towards my next purchase. They told me to refuse delivery when my order arrives and when the order arrives back at their depot they'll assess it and offer a refund if it is in good condition..

    I get that it's outside the promo period but is it that hard to just place a credit on my account for future revenue for their company??? My order hasn't even been shipped yet!

    I had my eye on some of their whitegoods but now I think I'll buy elsewhere. It's the principle of it. You have to provide great customer service and be interested in keeping business.

      • I appreciate the question troll. It allows me an opportunity to vent and explain further.
        I may not 'deserve' the voucher but it is my 'right' to cancel my order whatever my reason may be. I'm sure you have returned items after a change of mind.

        I placed my order last night at 8pm and contacted DD at 9am. I have no doubt that they were able to process my refund but chose to make things difficult as they knew that I would re-purchase with the promo special. They themselves admitted that the item was still sitting in their despatch area.

        I couldn't be bothered fighting it. If they don't value my business, I'm happy to take all future purchases elsewhere. Poor return customer appreciation…

        On a side note, you stated last night on the deal you posted (the deal I bought - in Queen latex) to try DEAL15 for a further discount. This discount was sent to select people on the DD mailing list, yet you promoted it. Do all these people 'deserve' the discount even though they weren't on the mailing list Mr high and mighty?? I did not realise that you get to dictate who are and aren't 'deserving' oh mighty dictator of DD discounts.
        Bit of double standards don't you think?
