NB Don't put em on the road. They'll get smashed up.

    • These may not fill a noisy room with sound, but they go OK in a quiet room, eg, to add volume & bass quality to netbook audio.

    cheap speakers

    not the best rating 3.1/5

Even on ebay theres a guy seling them for $8 but then you have to pay shipping so not a bargain, but seems that this is what they are worth

Even @ $1, they weren't popular on ozbargain in 2011

    • Might have been because they sold out before many people voted.

      oh…..nooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Interestingly it's $9.95 on the desktop site. Mobile site bonus?

  • I like these, have a set on my desk and for the price I think they are well worth it. Cheap but very decent sound

  • Hmmm… 1.2 watts total. These will actually be less effective than the projectors already built in 2 watt speaker!

  • These are not actually that bad (owning a pair myself). You just turn up the low frequencies a notch on the equaliser on winamp, bass boost under windows and they are decent.. Sure they don't have the same 'doof doof' as say the Z10's, or speaker setups with subwoofers but they are completely USB based (no background hiss, clean signal), have volume control/mute on the actual speakers, uber portable… For $9 its a very good price and currently they float around double the price in most other places… Juicy plus from me.

  • Can someone who has these tell me whether they have a headphone socket please?
