A lot better ^.^ Do you have any Nespresso store near you, they are free to try.
No, it is not better at all. It is just more user friendly. Coffee turns out to be the same if you just drink espresso
I have tried both with their demo, the one at Coles is terrible especially with the mike powder pod.
I am not sure if just espresso itself.
They are so expensive in Australia. Not even to mention the capsules which sot nearly the doubly of what they cost in some european countries :(
But the coffee is great though
Yep, expensive still. Considering i got mine about a year ago from Amazon.it for 260 delivered.

€ 209.- as normal price. Not even a special…. that are $310.-
Same, still going strong with daily use. $260 was a steal
Not saying this is not a good deal but the one expired a few days ago was awesome http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/114000
Wasn't as good as a few months ago.
Isn't that one the same price?
That was $399 with $80 cashback. $48 less.
got mine for $250 with cashback last Nov. Havent seen any price as good since
Hope they will have it again by year end.
When I looked into the latissima a few years back, the #1 complaint was that the milk wasn't hot enough. As such, I went for one with the separate milk frother (aeroccino) instead.
Is it still a problem with the latest models?
The latissima+ addressed this issue by bringing the temperature up to 60 degrees.
They should call it Latissima bug fix instead of Plus model.
Wow, awesome to hear!
Just put hot water in the water reservoir if you want it really hot.
Will it damage whatever internally?
They use a small vibe pump, made out of plastic, plus the tank is plastic and the water tubes are rubber, neither are designed for hot water - You might cause extra heat to the coil of the vibe pump which would reduce its performance, but so long as its not boiling water, I don't think you've got a problem. You'd also only be making the espresso base hotter, not the milk - but your overall beverage temp would be higher.
Theory of starting with hotter than cold water is fine - youd end up with hotter water coming through the thermoblock. Maybe use warm water, not hot/boiling to give it a head start to be safe.
how do you get the cash back?
Is this better than the $50 one at Coles?
