  This is a true story & very emotional. I read a few pages and looks good.

For twenty years, I believed the man who raped me would remain a mystery. I never saw his face. There was not much evidence. I reconciled myself with the events of that night although I never really stopped wondering who the person was. Even though my case had been revisited several times by Chief Investigator for the State's Attorney's Office in Annapolis, David H. Cordle, Sr., over the years, no one was arrested or charged with committing the crime. It didn't take long for me to believe that no one
would ever be arrested.

I was asked recently what I want to gain from writing my story and what I hoped someone would take away from its reading. I am taking advantage of the opportunity, while the events are still fresh in my mind, to purge myself of the last remnants of this crime. My writing is cathartic. It is also a challenge, and I like to challenge myself. However, I also believe it is much more.

I am writing this story for all rape victims in the hope that the importance of reporting the crime is made clear. I hope those who have a similar story, but have lost faith, will once again believe that good does eventually triumph over evil and not give up hope.
