Id imagine its any of the repco branded filters to suit (nearly) any commercial car
Thanks for negging me, whoever you are… negger!
Looks like a pretty decent deal considering the filters usually cost around $~15ish (for my car anyway)!
Any good for a hyundai getz 2003?
dont see anything wrong with castrol gtx if the weight is suitable for you.
repco filters are decent for what they are anyway. yes there are better, but for a getz, its plenty.
t25 : Cheers mate.
PS dont forget the 30% this weekend for NRMA & RAC members!
30% off catalogue prices?
Niiiiice
For a normal car it will be fine, just change oil at regular 5000kms intervals with a new filter and you will be fine. Performance cars steer clear.
Also if you own a Toyota buy Toyota filters. The ones Toyota make are amazingly well designed for optimal flow and max filtration.
Hi, this is is a great deal if you own a car that has expensive ($15+ filters) like especially if you also have another older car that uses cheap filters and can take the 15/40 SN oil. So you buy the oil for the falcon and the filter for the Benzo on this deal. Then you buy cheap Z9 filters separately for the falcon and the right oil for your best car.
Not that this oil is bad in any way. if your car take SN or earlier 15/40 its all good really. 5,000k changes! if your cars running right the oil should still be clean at 5000k. Maybe in heavy traffic.
For anyone who didn't get it this week, this has been extended until sept 1
My local had plenty 100+
Oil filter is a repco brand
Thanks outlander
Thank you for the fantastic post. I ended up buying some with a filter for an 80s toyota corolla. The usual price is $15, so I saved a bungle thanks to you
Other car I have is a 90's commodore. Different story with that as I can pick up genuine filters for $10, so not worth messing around with repco branded stuff. I'll probably use the oil in it though.
How'd you go theearth, have you had a chance to test this out?
what car do the filter fit
