Low speed and capacity but also low price and I couldn't resist so ordered one pronto, thanks.
Likewise :)
low hosting bandwidth too
Keep getting "unable to place order" in the order review page :(
Finally got through
I'm getting "Unable to place the order."
Ditto…..'unable to place order'
Woah. Thanks for that.
I didn't look too closely and assumed it was the class 10 that they had for sale last time.
Thankfully the order failed.
EDIT: Commented wrongly. Was meant to be a comment for the comment about speed
Yep!
Meh I give up. Didn't really need one anyway.
I got the same, but I've also now got a paypal receipt saying I've paid????
Sold out? "unable to place order"
No its still available .just ordered although it said unable to place orderbut after clicking place order it worked second time.
Also there s 2% surcharge with paypal
Great way to increase business on your website - Sale = site crash!
paypal hanging… not looking good for me…
Unable to place order……
again… server error
Unable to place order…………….
server is down, saves me $2.5, but wastes me 15 minutes
I'm stuck on Review your information on PayPal. Has my order gone through?
not likely cos you didnt get to the confirm button.
Finally got through.
CPL I don't know why you keep posting these loss leader deals. They clearly do not work for your reputation.
I have a BIG Question?
How can these guys afford to offer these deals but NOT OFFERING SSL on their site for their customer PROTECTION?
Rep: Please add SSL to your site or I will NEG your next deal.
Thanks
It's not too bad, lots of sites only have SSL for financial information.
CPL don't take your financial info, because they don't accept credit cards. Any payment info is entered on 3rd party sites which are secure, such as PayPal or Bank deposit.
I agree that it would be nice to have SSL for name and billing address, but they are not alone in having that info unsecured. You would have to neg a bunch of other vendors on that basis.
Refund please !!
wait…
got the order email after a bit of F5 action… CPL website is still trying to tick over though!!
edit: … and eventually it did. whole process took 14 minutes !
the site is being ozbargained
not class 10? previous deal was class 10
:(
paypal only over 7 dollars?
unable to place the order………After 15 minutes
The requested quantity for "Samsung Plus 8G Micro SDHC MB-MP8GB/CN" is not available.
when click through the checkout there is a note stated paypal only for 7 dollars and above…..
couldn't be stuffed registering so decided against it
It's been years since I've had a malfunctioning website spit out actual SQL code in its debug information - NOT what you want customers to see :)

thanks mate, there is something about reading lines of code that I find soothing
Runs MySQL and PHP.
This query looks like need tuning…
Unable to place order
unable to place the order…
"Unable to initialize Express Checkout.
The requested quantity for "Samsung Plus 8G Micro SDHC MB-MP8GB/CN" is not available."
I think we're all done here.
Spent the last 10 minutes F5'ing through the checkout and the paypal and finally got to the last stage where I spent another 5 minutes refreshing just to see
"Unable to initialize Express Checkout.
The requested quantity for "Samsung Plus 8G Micro SDHC MB-MP8GB/CN" is not available."
Huh? gone to Paypal, authorise pmt, then fail? your Magento server can't handle ozbargain truly…
The requested quantity for "Samsung Plus 8G Micro SDHC MB-MP8GB/CN" is not available.
spent like 20 minutes trying to check out…your site sucks CPL!
Got one. Thanks.
"The requested quantity for "Samsung Plus 8G Micro SDHC MB-MP8GB/CN" is not available"
Now sold out
unable to place the order………After 15 minutes
The requested quantity for "Samsung Plus 8G Micro SDHC MB-MP8GB/CN" is not available.
……I think it needs to be marked "EXPIRED"
I think it needs to be marked 'MEGA FAIL'
Agree….
Hey CPL, could you reserve one for me please?
Thanks for bringing the stress test. It reminds me nothing cheap comes easily.
Looks like the site has already ozbargained… well played Sir
Thanks. Was successful eventually…..
Tried to order 1 and it says the requested quantity is not available… OZBargained already????
Yeah looks like its expired now
looks like it
Managed to get one ordered, website must be getting hammered, very slow.
The requested quantity for "Samsung Plus 8G Micro SDHC MB-MP8GB/CN" is not available.?????
same, out of stock I guess.
goddamnit
Hahaha guys, stop trying to get these cplonline "deals". It's the same every time.
If its a great deal, u wont jump them right? :P
Fail
How is it a fail if it's your fault you missed the oppourtunity to purchase the item when it was in stock?
Hahaha how is it not a fail when the website crashes due to one deal, and blurts out code? Not that you'd care, but I had no intention of purchasing from this mob after the experience of other members on here.
oh well saved myself $2.50 cos I'm not sure I actually needed it. Just seemed to cheap to pass up :D, ahh the irony of ozbargain
This is how you load test your website without blowing out your budget by paying to expensive QA contractors. For 50 bucks it's done and all the loop holes discovered as well which is bonus. Now fix the issues and relist the same (10 items) for $1 and you can test for much bigger load.
Registration, shopping, cart, checkout, redirect to PayPal, etc.. all covered and tested. :)
Btw I don't understand why people neg this when they can not get it. If you could jump in early you could get it and if you started after half of OZBargainers have already started hammering the site, your chances are thin.
This is a good price to me. +1 for the deal.
if every one jump in early, it will just make everyone start complaining earlier, nothing really changed
yes but whats the point of +1 the deal if nobody or hardly anybody can buy it?
eg. if a shop offers ps3 for $49 but only 5 in stock
vs ps3 at another shop $199 but 500 in stock
or vs ps3 $277 but infinity stock (rrp all 299)
then which one "deserves" more +1? - IMO the 1st deal is the worst.
maybe in future REPs should state exactly how many in stock to avoid confusion/complaining.
it wouldnt have helped here though since the server crashed.
To me both the first 2 examples are deals. As long as they offer very good price they are deals. What if I see a dirt cheap price for an item in my local store with only 5 left on the isle and another Ozbargainer lives next door looking to buy the same item but doesn't know that it's available in the local store for a good price. Should I post it or not??
Your 3rd example I'd say not a deal as we all know the prices here for most things are highly inflated. So 5%-10% discounts in Australia become hardly a good price in most situations.
Seeing something at your local supermaket that only does pickup with 5 left is MUCH different to something that can be bought online and basically the deal is over within 30seconds of you posting it.
Im not saying its NOT a deal - its just the worst deal, therefore it deserves the least +1.
oh and with the 3rd deal - I specified ps3 because its something that is never discounted more than $5 - eg. its a deal if the price is below what is usually found around normal sales.
Prices are inflated here because the wages are higher here…
I didn't get one because I didn't want to waste any more time. I added a stapler to my cart just to see how much shipping was. It was… wait for it… $27 the cheapest option. HAHA!
But still a positive vote?!
What's the point of putting this deal here when the items are sold out in less than 10mins. I wonder how many are available?! Stop wasting everyones time!!
expired… phew.. saved 2.50
Anyone receive this yet?
Yep, received mine to postcode 2035. I've bought a few such things from them and received all my purchases in reasonable time. Good if you succeed in making it through the rush of the online ordering process.
I received it on last Friday 23rd Aug.
Also received Friday 23 August.
free shipping isnt coming up for me, it does in the estimate, but during checkout its not there
