Yep, no-one wants to know they exploit some of the poorest people on earth to make these clothes so cheap. Build a safe work environment 1st then implement quality control and people would be happy to pay a bit more.
Yup, quality has gone through the floor, along with consistency.
I've lost the faith with Rivers. Wore their shoes exclusively for several years, but the clothes' styling just got weirder and weirder, sizing more and more random, the folks who operate the online store slower, more forgetful and recalcitrant. The Bangladesh clothing uproar isn't too encouraging either. They're not the nice, sweet Aussie company they'd have us believe.
