I went to a Telstra Store to buy a SIM and they gave it for free. Maybe worth a try.
yep. went and watched superman on wednesday for $13. telstra much better than optus
so buying a $2 sim with telstra gives you access to their 10$ movies?? do you have to top up the sim to keep the account active every 30days or something? or just buy the 2$ sim everytime you want to go to the movies? hows it work?

FYI if you go through Telstra's $10 tickets you dont need to pay for a processing fee which Cinebuzz usually charges :)
Cinebuzz would usually charge you a booking fee even on their $10 movie of the week deals when you buy online

Well not sure about the other places but tickets are between $7.50 and $9.50 at the Southport cinemas at least. Good timing though as i was going to see pacific rim this weekend anyway.
Pacific Rim was AMAZING.. i used telstra's $10 tickets and it was the best $10 i've spent all year :)

Get a $2 Telstra pre-paid SIM and enjoy $10 movies for life (or till the Telstra-Event Cinemas partnership exists)
