I know paypal protection is good for lost/DOA products, I have never tested it for warranty claims.

Kogan sells this for $3 more, you get an abn that you can report in case they go AWOL in the event you need a warranty claim.
Better yet you can get one from OW pricematched for ~$50 more
… and $74.95 for delivery which makes it $638.95 which is more expensive than the eBay group buy. Also had a look at past deals from them, which shows they (1) have pretty bad deals previously, and (2) are currently banned for sockpuppeting.

Yeah. Then maybe you should find a better example. For example DWI who is selling i9505 for $609 delivered (although many probably won't touch DWI).
You got any more good examples then? Becextech are dodgy. They charge $75 shipping so that they can reduce the list price by $75 and top the shopbot and staticice seach lists, driving more traffic to the site. It's quite dishonest and makes it harder for people shopping to find genuine lowest prices.
Please do some research.

You can only get the $650 outright price if you pay in cash and at their store.
They have a physical store in Reservoir, Vic.
People have purchased from them and have confirmed that they are Aus-stock indeed.
It's currently out of stock, so might have to play the waiting game.

But if you email them before heading down to the store, they are most likely happy to take $650 cash for phone + cover.

I think it's saver the buy S4 from Kogan ($619+19=$638) rather than Ebay. At least they'll honour their warranty.

It's okay to buy something cheap from Ebay like a printer toner, but surely not an expensive phone like Galaxy S4!
