  i have the earforce z11 which are basically the exact same headphones
  and i got them only because they were realllllly cheap 40 $ delivered
  and honestly for the price yes they are pretty good headphones they also use a 50mm driver

Picked up the X12 for XBOX & PC.

Plugged them in and there was a distorted hiss…. thought "well there goes my $60" , as the game started the distortion stopped. HOLY CRAP these are clear. I was playing Borderlands 2 and the new sounds I can hear and the clarity is top notch.

I hope the poor build quality of Turtle Beach is a myth because I am loving these.

  I dropped mine. fell off the desk. left ear cup snapped clean off.
  I bought these same headphones for 45$ 4 months ago. was a post on ozbargain.
