For all fellow 2 wheeled ozbargainers - found this and seems like a good deal. No hard armour but won't be expecting it anyway for a jacket in this price range. Seems like the perfect jacket for the season - warm and waterproof! Free shipping.

  I miss Bike Gear Warehouse I bought something similar with decent shoulder and elbow protection for around this price.

  I bought one purely by chance. Received on Wednesday.

  Don't have THAT much to compare it to, but it seems really, really solid. Cordura feels thick, pads are pretty stiff and with good placement. I believe the 100% waterproof claim, and the main zipper has velcro and studs in addition to the ykk zip. Has lots of waterproof pockets.

  tabs w/ elastic draw the jacket in at several points, and there's a removable liner.

  Really, really impressed.
