  can someone explain when the bonus credits get used - are they used before the $30 or after.

  I have a boost prepaid that I can use standard credits for 6 mths. If the bonus is available first then I can use that and leave the $30 for later. If I have to use the $30 first then the $50 then its of no use to me.

  Even if its doesnt turn out to be useful for me its a good find.

  i think the $50 credit will be exhausted first then your normal credit

  I think they are just doing this because people are leaving Optus upon announcement of Optus's increase in call and sms rates to their prepaid customers all plans other than the turbocharge. But good deal anyway!

      "Recharge your Optus Pre-Paid mobile for $30 or more on Saturday 21st March or Sunday 22nd March and a get a $50 bonus credit".

      So I believe it just have to be recharged during the promotional period.

  Good deal, but I'm so glad I got off pre-paid, it's the biggest rip off compared to post paid plans.

  Optus is a rip off, 29c for sms and per minute billing, I'm going to port over to Telstra soon.

    When I heard aboutrate changes, called sales and asked if they could do a better deal on one of their contracts - wasn't asking for price matching. Have been with optus on post paid 3 years/ prepaid 3 year.

    Mentioned a deal from another provider and was told "If you can get that deal then you should change network" so changed, along with 3 other friends. Know about 5 other people changing as a result of the rate changes and their friends leaving optus.

    Much better to switch to the TPG plan or the Three blackberry plan, in the long term they work out a lot cheaper.

  Oh man..I got a useless free subscription to MTV on my phone…my phone cant even support it. What a waste LOL
