I think they only will send 1 unique code for each mobile number.
I've got a feeling the angry asian lady at my nearest 7-11 is going to try and get out of honouring this, she did everything she could to avoid giving away the Munch sandwiches last year.

Hahah - It took four 7/11 staff members to put this through just now (Sydney CBD). It tastes just like Red Bull with a blueberry aftertaste.

You just them the code on your phone and they type it into their system.
Yes. They typed the code into the register. A friend at work signed up and the codes are unique.
Not all stores are participating even within VIC/NSW/QLD and doesn't seem to be a list of participating stores anywhere.
I randomly got given a couple of 4 packs when I was last in Melbourne, blueberry one taste similar to V.

I went to two 7-Eleven stores in Sydney (Capital Square, Haymarket & Eddy Avenue, Sydney Central) and both had no idea about the promotion. Even after reading the sms on my mobile the guy behind the counter still refused to honour the promotion.
The capital square 7-11 is one of the worst in town! I went there one night to buy a vodafone recharge card and they sold me an optus recharge. They then refused to exchange it for a vodafone recharge as they said it was my fault and blamed me for the mistake!!!
I urge all ozbargainers to boycott the capital square 7-11 on george st sydney. they never honour anything.

I've also had the same problem at capital square 7-11. They also sold me the wrong recharge card.

Worked successfully for me at the 7/11 just down from Hoyts on George St, Sydney.
No problem with the SMS, works great. They were giving away the free drinks at various CBD locations last week, the guy handed out 2 cans just by walking pass, turned around to get 2 more cans.
The 7/11 closest to UTS in Sydney honours it :D

Nope - I've used these offers (free lunch, free pie, free can) for a while now and never gotten any SPAM or promotional e-mails from 7/11.

Used the voucher the other day, had no problem at all. Drink was pretty nice too, bit expensive for a small can but not bad at all.

Worked at Ashmore 7-11 on the Gold Coast. I just picked a Citrus flavoured one and went up to the cashier.
The person at my 7/11 said they can't put it through yet and to come back another day…

just got a Blueberry flavour can from the 7/11 at Elizabeth St / Little Flinder's St in Melb CBD.
The staff did not know how to enter the code & did not even hear about the drink. Showed them the sms and after a few minutes of fiddling around with computer, they just told me to take the can. Don't know if they made use of the code or not.I got one from the 7-11 outside caulfield station in victoria, worked fine too.
Got mine. The Blood Orange & Chilli one actually CONTAINS NO CHILLI, but it has a sort of spicy feeling as it goes down. Didn't really like it all that much, but it was free, so I'm not bothered :) There is a blueberry flavour too, I might give that a shot one day.
A friend described the Blood Orange & Chilli flavour as "like watered down Red Bull with spicy bubbles". I would agree.

It's been 10mins and still didn't receive it, may be it's over :(I just got my code.
It says:Expires 06/04/09 or when promo stocks run out.

I didn't get my sms and now it says that the phone number has been used. :( I have emailed the support address on the site but heard nothing. It seems to be working for everyone else though…
