Have been looking for a steam cleaner. Does anyone own this model?

Ive read the reviews. Either loathe it or love it not many inbetweeners.

I've got the Kenwood SC590 which gives me a sore thumb, so I live in filth instead.

Here's one more review of the Eurolab ZQ03 (Multi-Purpose Steam Blaster)

  • I see a bright future for the actor dealsdirect used for there video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=23a6o…

    • Not an easy gig mate. Would you do better?
Christ, she could be from reception from all we know…

      • Uploaded by visualmedialimited. I think this was done by a professional production company.

        • OK. Not from reception.

    • Deep fried model?

  • Just purchased. Initially ordered on mobile site but charged shipping - about $50 for 3 items, $40 shipping on top. Went to "view full site" and repeated the order. Cheaper shipping, then processed as free shipping! Funny, thought be more encouraging of mobile/impulse buys.

  • So i take it there's two channels to the head - one pumping steam, one extracting like a normal vacuum cleaner.

Will this actually work properly on carpet? I'm assuming the industrial steam cleaners cost a fortune, and even then i'm not sure how good a job they do…

    • Where did you get the impression that this blower sucks?

      • Are you telling me it doesn't?
Pretty useless if all it does is spray hot water over my carpet.

Near the handle there appears to be two tubes - i assume the thinner one is where the steam is pumped down…

        • Don't worry, the water turns into a steam-like substance which will evaporate away.
          Watch in it action here.

        • Yeah i saw that.

If there's no suction, then there's nowhere for the dirt to go, except to remain where it was - just a little hotter.

Industrial steam cleaners have a reservoir where all the filthy water accumulates.

You're suggesting that this is a steamer, not a cleaner.

        • Eurolab Multi-Purpose Steam Blaster

Don't blame me. I'm just here for shits and giggles.

        • You don't really know do you…

It is possible to blow & suck at the same time.

        • I've got one from a different maker, and it sucks. Just not the way you want it to suck.

        • Then it's useless.
          Thanks.

        • You can't vacuum out a stain from carpet, but you can steam it out.

How does it compare to this one? Similar price, free delivery.

Dedicated steam-mop compared to a multi-function steam 'Blaster'.
If you just want to clean your floors, go the mop, if you want to clean other stuff like windows/tiles/bathroom etc then go the blaster (but it likely wont clean the floors quite as good as the dedicated mop).

I bought the Sensation 3-in-1 mop mentioned above, after finding today's deals on the Deals Direct website. The steam blaster doesn't do the steam mop function as it does not have a mop pad.

However the steam mop can be set up to be a small steam blaster.

I searched productreview and googled the 3-in-1 and the reviews generally were as good as you could expect for this kind of product and the price is amazing since it's normally double at other sellers.

My only gripe is that I received the e-mail today offering a 10% off coupon for my next order, but the site did not accept it.

  • Deals Direct is now asking $69.95 for this item!

  • Yes the price is back to $69.95. I thought this deal expires on 7/7 which means 5pm today ?
