    No, however I believe they may be getting phased out. I recall reading MS would exchange the points for a monetary equivalent when that happens.

        So there's a chance you'll get an increased value on your Microsoft account if you stock up on points before the conversion happens.

        The money that is deposited by Microsoft to replace your MS points expires in 12 months though.

        If you will use the credit anyway then yeah, probably not a bad idea to have a surplus now. Personally I prefer the money to be in the bank where I can use it for other things other than MS services, so I won't go too crazy stocking up.

        they had price cut or additional months offered for limited time last year, hopefully it will happen this year as well. combined it with 20% discount for PSN cards, great savings

  Not bad but for PS3 nothing can beat signing up with a US account and buy the cards digitally from Amazon. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony introduce some region checking with the PS4 so might be an idea to get that US (and perhaps UK) account soonish. US and EU have different sales so it's good to have both. We are in the EU region for the sales but of course prices are higher.

  Do yourself a favor and purchase a US PS+ account… Not only do you get free games but you get to buy Day 1 Digital Downloads for $60!!! (sometimes cheaper with PS+ discount)

    The last time I got discounted cards from Dick Smith was in December last year. So not that often. I think I'm gonna pick up 3x$50 PSN cards.
    Then I'm going to wait until PS+ is discounted again. I'm currently subscribed until September so hopefully it'll happen around then or when the PS4 comes out.

  If you Work Or know someone who works for woolworths group the staff cards still work, I got $80 ($50+$30) for $60

  The guy behind the counter said they wouldnt work but said I can scan it anyway, To his surprise it deducted additional 5%..
