Recently bought a Scalextric digital set. So much fun! Going to buy an extra car tomorrow :)
Anyone getting this set might want to consider getting the "ultimate expansion set" for the extra track, the hairpin curve and the jump. Also, the digital lap counter or the pit stop, to add a bit of competition to the mix.
Oh and on this digital track (with the power pack included in this set) up to four people/cars car race on two lanes, so a third car and controller add lots of coolness factor :)

This sounds like great fun, but please note that some of the Amazon reviews state that the set is shipped without any packaging to protect it (just the manufacturer's display box). That may be acceptable to UK addresses, but it's a long haul down here to Oz and the potential for damage enroute is considerable.
