  • I live in QLD so offer not really applicable for me.

How does the warranty work for these brands, eg Tyagi, Kogan?

If it's faulty, do we need to pay for shipping back? Surely there wouldn't be too many authorised repairers around for these brands.

    • This offer is only valid for purchases made in warehouse. Our warranty is Australia wide onsite warranty. With us you never have to pay any courier charges etc. in case of a breakdown technician comes to you anywhere is Australia. Parts and Labour covered under the warranty.

Enough of this no name, overpriced Tyagi crap already…..

  • they would generally have some 3rd party doing warranty repairs in your area, but I can not say for sure for these brands

  • You again.

  • what????? $1095 looks like very awesome deall…lollzz…

I would rather go for Sony 37” S Series Bravia LCD TV for $995 approx at Kmart…
A branded and trusted,, with guranteed warranty..

Anyways, is tyagi an australian owened and manufacturing company or some cheap stuff???
If it is a gud stuff, It should always be cheaper in price to attract buyers..

    • I don't think the Sony deal from KMart was Full HD. Also Kmart is a last clearance depot for big brands which tell how bad that model was. Inspite of being a Sony it could not sell enough so much that Kmart had to clear it.

If you are comparing TVs you should go compare the audio/video quality in person. Trusted and branded names do not necessarily mean good products.

None of the Australian made products are cheaper than chinese imports even if their quality is questionable. If good stuff should be cheaper then all Australian brands should be cheap to attract more buyers. But that is not the reality.

Exactly right, that is a Sony 32" HD model.

        • i have double checked it and it is 37" inch…

DSE about a month ago had a $899 deal on their 37" with 5 year warranty included

    • -1

It was HD model with analogue tuner, not full HD model with HD tuner

      • +2

And I'd still buy the Sony analogue one any day over your Tyagi crap……

BTW DSE then reduced it to $798. Just buy a separate HD tuner and you're sorted!!!!

        • same here….. tyagi is new comer…but expensive though…which doesn't motivate me at all…though it does gimme a risk to play wid my $1k,,,
