If you are looking for an entry level iPod, I don't think you can beat this. Refurbished models come with new casings, headphones, box and manuals, so there is really no way to tell it has been refurbished.
Good colour too: Silver: in my opinion.
8GB Nanos are still $199 so about half price is a good entry level price.

One thing I really don't like about Apple refurbished products is that they calculate the $ saved based on historical prices (and currently unavailable).
How else could they do it for discontinued stock?
I'm sure there's a happy medium…it's a bit like a Rug Warehouse Clearance with their pricing of refurbs.. Oriental Rug was $4999 today only $79.50.
I was half expecting this offer to be the just-superseded 4G version with the tall 7 slim shape. :)
