  Thanks for the post OP. The previous deal was outstanding value. Will probably go ahead with this though. Do you know what web page it gives that offer on? (in other words where it explains what the code offers). Maybe it doesn't apply to customers who purchased the previous deal?

    Just o to the subs ribe page and type in he code and it brings up the deal.
    Doesnt mention any exceptions.

    Found it on an ad in the may 10 guardian weekly - which gives a link that doesnt work.

    Can call 02-9327-1266 and quote code too

  I would be sad if Fairfax went under cos nobody subscribed to it's publications, as inferior as it is.

  Got in on the last deal and it really was awesome reading a paper where real journalists report on real news . The quality of reporting seems to be getting less and less in every media . It's getting hard to tell the difference between the likes of ACA and supposedly real news .

  Do you have to call up some phone line to cancel? Do they have an Australian number? Can you cancel online? Last time I was on a trial it just elapsed and the issues stopped coming, I don't recall having to cancel.

    Understand there is 02-9327-1266 but is that a number for international cancellations as well as subs?

  Just tried that code today and it wouldnt work despite ad in theirpapersaying it was running till july 31.
  In fact the whole subscribe page is bugged saying invalud code so u cannot even subscribe at all!
  Not very impressivefor a media org that wants to invade australia.
  After much hassle i find the code tel13 wil at least get you to the full price subscription page…which is not much use to ozbargainers.

  Maybe they just dont want people to subscribe anymore or were hacked after shafting julian assange?

  Pity as the mag is a good read.

  Yes, I find that the code is not working now. The Economist deal with Groupon today won't work for print editions to Australia so I will have to look for another bargain 'international news' magazine/newspaper from somewhere else. Anyone have any ideas?

  Always wanted affordable print editions of the The Guardian/NYT/The Economist. Can't get the good stuff in Australia. :(

  False advertising from theguardian as the ad in their mag clearly states deal runs to july 31.
  U cud try calling them, if hassledremind them of falseadvertising etc.

  However in my experience thelady at gordon and gotch running the subsdoesnt have a clue and probably cant organise it.

  Just tried the code and it is. Working again. They charge u $1 e ery week for 6 weeks not $6 upfront
