How much did you pay / where did you get the combo?
I got a two drill combo from bunnings the driver and destroyer with three batteries and a redemption for the 4th and the one they send is a 4.0amp so quite powerful I got my combo for 499 and had a power pass discount card so paid 470

why the tag "makita"?
Pretty obvious isn't it? for the domestic user of power/cordless tools, the most common brands are Bosch and Makita. so if i had just been searching for a Makita cordless tool and came across this in my search i would be more inclined to go with the Bosch.

I am a handyman and actually used to use only ryobi and just made the switch to bosch…
Nothing is free that's why I put "battery redemption" batteries are over $100 especially a 4.0amp…so saving that money counts running a small business like myself
Both companies now have battery redemptions just need to find the right seller I posted it with a makita tag cos most tradies carry one or the other…I only just switched to bosch
Kmart have 18v batteries for $10 on clearance. Just no frills ones. They also had a smaller volt maybe 15? for $7.
