    Not back from the dead, I heard they are not making any more new kodak digital cameras. As there is reports on the web that says they are withdrawing from the Digital Market.

      Yeah. their new CEO wants them to move back into film photography… Less competition apparently…

      There is a newer series of Kodak cameras out now in the US and some other countries called PixPro-made by JK imaging who has licensed the Kodak name for cameras.

      See kodakcamera.jkiltd.com for these new ones.

      I cannot find anyone in Australia distributing the new ones (similar to GE branded digicams-those are sold by Tasco).

      Paid $60 for my C1450 from OW Southport-$40 for it now is bonza of a bargain.

      No AF assist light for dim shooting conditions but I am happy with the picture quality. Seems that OW stock of C1450's has a Kodak India label on there-mine did.

      I was lucky enough to score another EasyShare-Mini M200 for $34 a few weeks ago but this one was at Target.

  My local Kmart is selling Fijifilm JX500 for $59, not as cheap as this one but with 720P filming, if this is what you're looking for.
  Just got a Sony WX100 at my local DSE today for ~$70, not bad for the specs, ex display model but very good condition.

  A couple left at OW Box Hill (Melb) but I picked up a Panasonic DMC FH8GNS instead. A way better camera, already on sale at $89 but running out for $60. One left, I think
